ABOUT PEER ROPE ADELAIDE
Peer Rope Adelaide is one of South Australia’s premier rope clubs that primarily focuses on shibari, or the Japanese style of rope bondage. The club exists to provide a safe environment for people interested in Japanese rope to meet up, learn and practice together.
As the name suggests, Peer Rope Adelaide’s educational activities include a mixture of peer learning from each other as well as from qualified instructors teaching how to apply different rope techniques and patterns safely. They also regularly invite recognised rope artists from interstate and abroad to come and teach and perform.
While PRA does focus mostly on shibari, they do also occasionally host workshops and visiting riggers who specialise in different bondage styles. PRA also hosts a regular weekly Monday night social and class, welcoming all those interested in learning rope, of all skill levels.
